The Department of Mathematics was established in 2007 offering B. Sc. Pass Course. Since 2015 the Department offers B. Sc Honours course under UG programme of North Eastern Hill University. The Department has five Faculty Members. It is a fully computerized Department. It has ever strived to set high standard of teaching. It has been the cherished goal of the Department to inculcate in the students a desire to excel, to demonstrate originality and to develop a sense of responsibility towards the society. Our mission is to welcome all students who take interest in the subject, support them through remedial classes, and show them how the subject is useful in their day-to-day life, but most importantly to impart basic concepts of mathematics to all students especially those hailing from interior rural areas. During the period 2018-22, a total of 60 students appeared the University exam with a pass percentage of 93.33%.
