Research Activities

One aspect of the College vision recognizes the fact that a College does not exist in isolation - it exists in a society. Thus it needs to be relevant to the society and people around it and its environment. It has a role to play and a contribution to make. The College therefore encourages its faculty members to undertake some research activities that may have a positive impact in the society and environment around it.

The College has recently published a research study undertaken by Dr. P. Iongwai, Department of Zoology, entitled “Studies on Health Status and Food Habits of Residents of Mairangbah Locality”.

The College has some fund for research activities by Faculty members as well as for students. The College looks forward to publish at least some Research Papers every year and therefore encourage the Faculty members of the College to undertake research works.
